I'm back!

16 July 2014

I've decided to resurrect my blog!  I am currently training very hard for a competition at the end of the month, which I am very nervous about because it is my first competition.  ..hopefully this will be of some interest to people I am training with :)

This is what I have done today:

@Crossfit Teesside

20 Deadlifts @70kg
20 box jumps 20"
15 Deadlifts
15 box jumps
10
10
5
5

 Time - 6:27 (decent, not brilliant.  made mistake of putting bar down on 14th rep in first set to readjust my grip then the fatigue hit I and struggled to find my rhythm again.  Must do more heavy endurance work!)

afterwards - usual 3 attempts at a ring muscle up and as usual go through on my right side only, leaving my left hanging under the ring (!???)  1 bar muscle up for good measure :)

@home, after finally getting babby to sleep..just a play around with new calisthenic movements - one word to describe this experience: humbled!  The difficulty level in these movements makes me feel like a weak little chick that has just hatched!  ..and I am only trying to do beginner movements! I am including these to hopefully demonstrate some progress at a later date!..eek!
