COMPETITION DAY!!!!




Well, to sum up this experience I would have to say 'surreal'. I was so nervous leading up to it and dreading it I couldn't think straight but I also felt quite ill still and felt like I was in a weird bubble all day. I couldn't get any adrenaline going, I just felt like I was 'plodding along' most of the time! However, it was still a good day and the actual nerves right before the wods weren't as bad as I thought and it wasn't as scary as I thought. I managed to scrape myself up from 33rd to 28th which is all I wanted, so I was happy. I was pleased just to be able to get through it as I nearly didn't go and nearly went home after feeling very rough following the first wod!! ..but I got through it, albeit very tired afterwards! After a good rest, looking back I feel inspired to get back in there and do another one and do better! For now, I am just proud to say I have worn this..
